本文提出,随着我国南极长城站和中山站的建立、以及"极地号"和"雪龙号"破冰船的购置,更由于人民生活水平的逐步提高,我国开发南极旅游的时机已经到来。本文认为与低层次的物质享受相比,南极旅游更有助于促进国民素质提高和全国主义、国际主义精神的培养。本文对南极旅游资源作了评价.划分出南极半岛等4个旅游区。本文构思了我国未来南极旅游组织实施的规划和设想,提出可先开辟南极半岛旅游区和环南极旅行两条旅游线路,沿途可开展海外观光、远洋考察和远洋捕捞业,以促进我国旅游业、南大洋考察和远洋捕捞运输业的全面发展。

This paper is desighed to discuss an assumption for exploiting the Antarctic tourism resources.The authors think that since our Great Wall Station and Zhounshan (Sun Yet-sen) Station has been built,anti-ice vessel (Ji Di) and break-ice vessel (Xue Long) have been purchased,and what is more,the living standards of our people have been raised step by step,therefore,it is now the time to exploit the Antarctic tourism resources in China.In contrast to enjoying for wasting one's substances it is clear that the Antarctic tourism will be advantageous for heightening our national quality and developing the spirit of patriotism and internationalism.
The authors think that Antarctic tourism should have the principles of sight-worthy sceneries or artificial objects,convenient transpotation,safety,economy and comfort.The paper gives an evaluation of the Antarctic tourism resources, and points out that the Antarcic tourism resources have two aspects,that is,natural sceneries and artificial objects.1.Natural sceneries are polar aurora, polar day and night, ice sheet, glacier, epicontinental ice shelf, iceberg, special climate and ocean current,special geological phenomena (Volcano,ice avalanche etc);special animals and plants (i.e.,penguins,seals sea-berds,fishes,whales,Krills,mosses,lichens,algaes etc.).2.Artificial objects are early explorers' remains (i.e.scott's shed),early whale fishery base,pole mark,special high-base buildings and facilities,special basic necessities of life and special means of transportation etc.The paper divides Antarctica into four tourism regions,that is,1) Antarctic Peninsula (best tourism reston);2) southeast continental reston (i.e.Momurdo and Scott Station restons;3) northeast continental region (it can be reached only by taking vessel or helicopter);4) the region which can be reached by explorers.
Finally,the paper designs the future organization program for the Antarctic tourism in China,It suggests that we can open two tourism lines,that is,a path going to the Antarctic Peninsula region and a path going round the Antarctic continent.On the way,the vessels can be used to visit oversea sceneries, to do pelagic investigation and pelagic fishing (or krill) for promoting the development of our tourism, pelagic investigation,pelagic fishing and transportation.
